The Container
Corporation of India (CONCOR) has announced an upward
revision in its tariff with effect from August 1.
CONCOR is
the organisation which carries container from Port to
different Inland container terminals
According to a CONCOR public notice, this follows the
Ministry of Railways intimating of an increase in haulage
charges for transportation of containerised cargo by rail
with effect from the same date.
The rate increase by CONCOR will be applicable to both
export -import and domestic cargo, the notice pointed out.
The various distance slabs (leads) and weight categories
will be to the extent given in the table below.
