Health & Safety Rules
To maintain a safe working environment, employees, contractors, and other authorized personnel are expected to follow applicable workplace safety procedures and instructions, including the following:
- Smoking and chewing tobacco are not permitted in designated non-smoking work areas.
- Obtain and follow valid work permits wherever a permit-to-work procedure is required.
- Verify required safety isolation procedures before beginning work and use the specified protective equipment.
- Obtain appropriate authorization before entering any confined space.
- Do not override, bypass, or disable safety-critical equipment without proper authorization.
- Use appropriate fall-protection measures when carrying out work at height.
- Never stand, walk, or work beneath a suspended load.
- Alcohol, illegal drugs, or other substances that may impair safe working or driving are strictly prohibited during work activities.
- Drivers must avoid using mobile phones while driving and must comply with applicable road safety regulations and speed limits.
- Seat belts must be worn whenever required while travelling in company or authorized vehicles.
- Employees involved in transportation activities should follow the prescribed journey management and route planning procedures.
- Appropriate gloves and other personal protective equipment should be used wherever the nature of the work requires them.
- Safety shoes, protective headgear, and other required PPE should be used during activities such as office relocation , packing, loading, unloading, and industrial moving operations.
- Drinking water dispensers, coolers, and refrigerators should be kept clean, properly covered, maintained, and disinfected when necessary.
- Toilets and other shared hygiene facilities should be maintained in a clean, hygienic, and properly ventilated condition.
