Non-Allowance Items for Safe Moving
PMR does not accept perishable goods, jewelry, or hazardous materials such as fireworks, explosives, chemicals, gas-filled cylinders, battery acids, and flammable oils like diesel, petrol, kerosene, and gasoline. Narcotics and contraband items are also prohibited.
Here is a comprehensive list of dangerous, perishable, and personal items to help you move safely, reducing the risk of damage to your valuable goods and preventing injury to yourself and the movers handling your shipment.

  • Ammonia
  • Ammunition / Firearms/Fireworks
  • Batteries / Car batteries
  • Charcoal / lighter fluid
  • Cleaning solvents/Detergents / Acids/Bleach
  • Chemicals / Fertilizers
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Any Fuels / Oils / Kerosene

  • Paint / Varnishes / Paint thinner
  • Pesticides / Weed Killer / Poisons

Perishable Items
Transporting perishable items like food can prove to be risky when moved with everything else. The best practice is to donate such items to someone needy before moving day. A list of perishable items is as follows:

  • Food that hasn’t been properly preserved
  • Frozen foods
  • Open containers of foodstuffs
  • Plants
  • Refrigerated food
  • Oils / Liquid.
